Stone Face Tavern: A Pub with Great Food and Good Service

This place has amazing food!! I ordered the Fajita Sandwich and it was so tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly, guacamole was just a shade spicy, lettuce was crisp. The fries came out on abundance all piping hot and crispy! Even the pickle was great!!! Chloe my waitress/bartender was polite and super friendly. I would recommend anyone to stop here and visit if you're local or from out of town like me.

Ignore the ‘Karens’ posting about minor inconveniences because they can’t talk to a bartender or waitress for learning you seat yourself. This is a local bar that meets that awesome 80’s to modern crowd for beer, watching the game, playing pool, volleyball, and getting a good bite. It being in the north of town makes it an awesome spot for the Sandia local folks and the downtown people to come up for a good time to meet with friends. Friendly, genuine staff, and locals are genuine and wicked friendly. As patrons of hundreds of bars across dozens of states and countries, we love this place. A good time for anyone looking for a bar restaurant that is fairly priced and offers the whole gambit of bar options.

Stoneface Tavern is probably one of my favorite places to go for live music, great food, a pleasant environment and to shoot pool. On this recent visit I was not able to shoot pool or heat live music due to covid restrictions, however the rest of my visit was outstanding. My friends and I went for a Cowboy game (even though I'm a Bronco fan). On this occasion my waitress was Latoya. She was extremely pleasant, patient and quite frankly... A joy to be served by. She wore her mask the entire time. The food at this establishment is on the tasty sign. There's literally nothing that you can order that you will not enjoy. A favorite has been the nachos. Whether you are getting beef or chicken, or steak, be sure you have assistance and eating the mountain of food. I have had the salmon, fried zucchini, green chili cheese fries, and burgers. Any selection off of the menu may become a favorite of yours as well. The serving sizes of the food items is what brings you back. This is a great location to visit with your friends, watch the game, or if you're feeling so bold as to go solo - - - do your thing! Already got plans but need some spirits your libations - - - Stoneface has you covered with liquor available for purchase near one of the entrances. Have been going to Stone Face for 30+ years and have always enjoyed it. All to often we forget to recognize the people that make your visit enjoyable. Therefore, I would like to say Thank You to both Shannon and Shannon. They are absolutely Great! They provide Excellent service, are very Personable and make you feel welcomed.

Went on a Friday for a meal and billiards. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Food was ok, but I just got the nacho plate. Very enjoyable visit, will definitely go again.

Shanna & Latoya were delightful, engaging, friendly, courteous and attentive to this out of towner. The beer was the coldest I've had here in town. The food portions will cause your eyes to bulge and very tasty. The classic rock atmosphere is engaging. Even the bar back came overvto offer his assistance if we needed anything. I will definitely be back.

Great food, good service! Enjoyed a quick lunch with friends. I had the New Mexico Pastrami sandwich. It was big! The bread was toasted nicely, pastrami was juicy and a lot of it. Came with a side- I chose fries. Hot and crispy. Great meal.
